The Majestic 530 is a must see for anyone considering a quality offshore catamaran 50’ – 60’ that can be sailed single handed. The Majestic Catamaran boasts luxury accommodation for up to 12 persons.

  • Hull Material: Fiberglass
  • Engine/Fuel Type: Twin diesel

The Majestic 530 Catamaran offers the total package for liveaboard and extended ocean passagemaking. The interior accommodation and covered aft deck comparable to 60’ cats.  She is a development of Van de Stadt design which is highly regarded for its stability, performance, comfort and ocean friendly hulls. The enhanced adaption is CE certified making this catamaran even more attractive, spacious and versatile.

The majestic 530 has much fuller hulls (as compared to narrow, deeper cats) and are fashioned to reduce the bow movement and flatten the seas. This additional volume and buoyancy minimizes the wave contact with the bridge deck. The hull design offers a reduced draft, but an ability to carry more with minimal affect on performance.

The Majestic 530 was recently on display at the Miami International Strictly Sail Boat Show. The response was not surprising. After inspecting all the designs on display, for many, she was the best boat in the show for all the right reasons. The Majestic features an exceptional cockpit and deck area as well as interior volume comparable with cats 10’ longer. The Majestic offers a beautiful stateroom interior arrangement with a large bridge deck, galley, salon and navigation center. There is an impressive master suite with king berth and adjoining study plus four guest cabins all with en-suite heads.

The interior is built to the owner's specification, subject only to there being no impact on the structural integrity, and offers a range of options including , study, workshop, studio, pantry, wet locker, gym.

The crew who have sailed her from South African builders, Royal Cape Catamarans, praise her build quality, excellent sea kindly performance and stability. When one of the units arrived in the Caribbean, the couple participated in the 2010 Mount Gay Cup in Grenada, Wi. They managed to secure first place without extra crew and ahead of larger cats. They appreciated the light airy interior with superior storage and excellent workmanship and how easily she was to sail with only two members. The fully covered cockpit with custom fiberglass bimini, aft deck, two transom swim platforms and dive platform is another standout feature that can only be fully appreciated during inspection.
